The Motel Owner’s home has been designed to fit seamlessly with the property’s 23 high-end units. Developing an environmentally sustainable building was extremely important to the Owners and our team managed to achieve while crafting a building of superior quality which has supreme finishes throughout.

SMART’S RESIDENCE
Located in a beautiful rural location with gorgeous sea views, this seemed like an ideal building site. The only problem with it was that it was exposed to bitter cold southerly winds which come straight off Mt Taranaki - brrr!

To combat these issues, careful planning and thought had to go into creating the right design. We created a slightly angled house which captures the best of the sun, offers protection from the winds and makes the most of the breath-taking coastal and rural views.
